1. Manners

conduct themselves in a considerate and mature manner. If this rule is followed, all of
the other house rules fall into line easily and should require little thought or
attention.
Initial:
2. Responsibility
House guests, and their invitees, are responsible for the
consequences of their actions, whether accidental or intentional. Injury to others, or
damage to property, due to the actions or inactions of house guests or their invitees must
be paid for by house guests or their insurers. Furlow House expects reimbursement for
damage to property within thirty days of the time it is identified. We are flexible on the
means of payment. House guests agree that their credit card will be charged for the fair
market value of property damage done by them, or their invitees, if other payment
arrangements are not made within one week of the time property damage is identified, or at
any time if other arrangements are not honored by the guest.
Normal wear and tear of the property at Furlow House is expected and
is not the responsibility of the guests.

rollerblading, golfing, skiing, or ice skating, must be undertaken in a manner which does
not cause damage to property.
